On the other side lies Bad Hönningen.
The path that leads out of town is flanked by postwar apartment buildings for the most part; I didn't take any photos because they do not look interesting.
The older part of the promenade is lined with beautiful half-timbered houses.
The Andernach Gate is often hazy, but that day the Fernmeldeturm Koblenz could be seen far in the distance.
I returned along the B9 highway that unfortunately cuts through the town. Towards the southern end of the town there's the train station, a Protestant church, and a number of villas.
One old street runs perpendicular to the Rhine and the B9. It's narrow, but homely.
The B9 is an important artery along the Rhine. If you ever find yourself passing through Bad Breisig following it, and the weather is good, take a walk around so you don't associate it with just being a major bottleneck and frequent traffic jams!
I took a stroll along Bad Breisig's Rhine promenade.
