~ Erpel/Kasbach, 03.04.2025 ~

The trail up the Erpeler Ley is pretty in spring, and I wanted to see if I could use the drone to see even more of the landscape from atop the mountain.

Since the last time I visited, one building I remember seeing in a rather decrepit state seems to have been renovated nicely.

During spring the canopy is light and the forest floor bright with fresh green grass and flowering herbs.

After taking in the view at the top, I considered whether to retuen to Erpel and take the ferry there, or whether to continue on towards Linz. I decided on the latter and descended the eastern side of th Erpeler Ley.

On the other side is the small village of Kasbach. Here I had second thoughts and decided to go back to Erpel after all.

The rest was running frantically to try and get what I thought was the last ferry that day, missing it, then realising it made one more trip after all. Embarassing!
