Kirchdaun is a tiny village off any major roads or hiking trails, easily overlooked.

It's heavily agricultural, with farms, fields and pastures all around.
There are a golf course and an ostrich farm in the area too.

There is no real village centre. A street (out of a handful) with older houses leads up to the village's church.

The choir dates to the middle ages, while the nave was rebuilt in the 19th century. It's beautifully decorated all throughout.
