~ Löhndorf, 26.03.2021 ~

A short walk past the vinyards between Bad Bodendorf and Löhndorf.

One can see from here the breadth and depth of the lower Ahr valley.
From near to far: Ehlingen, Heimersheim, Bad Neuenahr and Ahrweiler.
Hugging the base of the Landskrone to the west are Lohrsdorf and Heppingen.

The bridge that mars the view supports the A61, a major Autobahn.
Unfortunately over the 20th century our civilisation lost the ability to build infrastructure both functional and æsthetic, anything that may add to rather than subtract from the beauty of the land.
