~ Oedingen, 19.02.2022 ~

Oedingen is a small village just outside of the Rhine valley. I visited it to take a look at its church, but it was unfortunately closed.

Its cemetary is situated on top of a hill and surrounds an older, mediæval church (also closed).

Unlike many of its neigbouring locals, Oedingen feels more like a large suburb than a rural village—for the most part.

The radar-based observatory of Wachtberg is the most notable feature on the horizon here.
