~ Sinzig, 06.03.2021 ~

At the outer edge of Sinzig a dwindling trail of houses leads up towards the forest.

Before spring drapes the forest in foliage, the eye has an easy time finding the sun in the sky and the Rhine valley downhill.

The path criss-crosses through the forest. A few teenagers on bikes made use of the uneven terrain to practice tricks. (Not pictured.)

The meadow grants a splendid view of the mountains framing the Rhine's meanders.
In the distance, the Drachenfels; a bit closer and to the right, the Erpeler Ley.
